Mr. Rohan Perera
A graduate in Electronics and Computer Engineering with post graduate qualifications in Computer Networks & Communication, Mr. Perera started his carrier as a Computer Engineer. After working for many years in his engineering profession, both in China and in the Silicon Valley, USA, in the early 1980s he ventured into setting up his own business enterprise in China, in the field of Hi-tech industry. In fact, he was among one of the first foreigners to set up a Hi-tech manufacturing facility in China. Mr. Perera who communicates fluently in several languages including English and Chinese, was also instrumental in introducing many large American Hi-tech firms to China. He played a key roll in the negotiations and formulation of many U.S.-China Joint Ventures, in China. Besides setting up successful ventures in China, Mr. Perera further expanded his business activities to several other countries. U.S.A., China, Russia, Hongkong, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Australia and New Zealand are some of the countries where he developed his business activities. Upon successfully operating the ventures that he founded for over two decades, in the year 2000, he started disposing most of them in order to devote all his time for the purpose of developing business activities of GBN-Global Business Network Inc. GBN is actively engaged in promoting international trade between Asia and North America.

Dr. Dana Perera
Holder of a MBBS degree in Western Medicine, Dr. Dana Perera started her career as a Medical Practitioner. She continued her studies in Chinese Traditional Medicine and in the year 1983, obtained a Diploma in Acupuncture & Moxibustion from the College of Traditional Medicine, Beijing, China. Passionate about Traditional & Natural medicine, she spent quite a long time reading and researching on this subject. In 2003, she completed her studies in Natural Nutrition and received a Diploma from the Canadian College of Natural Nutrition qualifying herself to practice as a Registered Holistic Nutritionist (RHN) in Canada. Conversant in English, Chinese & Singhalese, she has also held administrative positions in many private sector organizations in several countries. While developing a new division related to Natural Nutrition under GBN umbrella, she is currently monitoring several administrative functions of the company.

Dr. Ranjan Perera PhD
A former scientist of Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) USA, Dr. Perera is a leading investigator in the fields of Genetic Engineering, Molecular Biology, Genomics and Proteomics. With nearly two decades of science and management experience in Academia and Pharmaceutical industry to his credit, Dr. Perera has produced a large volume of publications including 12 international and US patents and more than 20 pending patents, to date. With the ability to communicate fluently in several international languages including English, Russian and Dutch, he has held important positions in many multinational Biotech firms in USA, Belgium and New Zealand. Dr. Perera intends setting up a research project to use ��Mouse embryonic stem cell specific microRNA and mRNA signatures to isolate adult human stem cells from tissues and organs�� which would be of an immense importance to those who are in the quest for finding a cure for diseases such as Parkinson, Huntington, Type-1 Diabetes and many more. He and his team at GBN are looking forward to establishing contacts with Governments or Private Sector organizations to set up a large scale vitro gene knock-out facility for candidate drug target identification. We firmly believe that the global gene expression profile data obtained from gene knock-out studies, will lead to identify miRNA and mRNA molecular signatures for prognostics, and diagnostics bio-markers for various diseases.

Dr. L. M. Walpita PhD
Dr. Walpita obtained his PhD in Electrical & Electronic Engineering from the University of London, England. A Scientist, Researcher and an Inventor of several new technologies, Dr. Walpita has authored over 50 publications including 7 patents in the areas of optical and electrical materials/devices, microfabrication, measurements and theoretical modeling. He has also functioned as a visiting professor in several reputed universities in USA and has undertaken several joint projects with major electronic companies such as General Dynamics, Lockheed, IBM, and Lucent Technologies. Dr. Hiran Abeysinghe PhD
After many years of extensive research, Dr. Abeysinghe invented a technology to treat and to preserve natural flowers and foliage against discolouration.
